Daily news, 12 Nov 2008: SYDNEY Qantas said it would grow its China network, with daily China Eastern code-share flights between Shanghai and Chengdu and Xian on sale from today.
Qantas currently operates 10 flights per week between Australia and China, seven to Shanghai and three to Beijing. Daily onward connections from Shanghai will now be available with China Eastern to both Chengdu and Xian.
Qantas also offers connections to the Chinese mainland from Hong Kong, with 31 return flights a week to Hong Kong from Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
