Daily news, 10 Nov 2008 : TAICHUNG InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has doubled the number of Holiday Inn Express hotels in Taiwan with the opening of the 169-room Holiday Inn Express Taichung Park.
IHG sees significant potential in the hotel industry in Taiwan, where the island is becoming increasingly connected to other parts of the globe. Increasing number of visitors from Mainland China are travelling to the territory and adding to the visitor arrivals.
